Linda Thornton established Lynda T Hairdressing in 2014.
Throughout my twelve years’ experience, I have developed a particular passion for bridal styling, hair extensions and teaching the art of hair. I also specialise in cutting, colouring and up-styling.
My clients include brides-to-be, the general public and professional hairstylists of all levels who require specific up-styling training.
I am L’Oréal, Alphaparf trained and Great Lengths certified. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented hairdressers, photographers and stylists in Ireland over the last decade.
During this time I have won:
- Best Young Talent in Hairdressing 2016 (Image Magazine Awards).
- I was also group winner of the Peter Mark Colour Trophy in 2014.
- Finalist in the 2015 L’Oréal Colour Trophy.
After about eight years working in salons, I felt compelled to share my knowledge with new and talented hairdressers. In 2014 I became a specialist educator of creative styling at Sallynoggin College of Further Education – the same year I set up my own business. I then took some time out in 2017 to become a first-time Mum – my newest passion in life. I continue to share my techniques and flair for hair at Sallynoggin College and most recently I designed my own teaching programme offering online tutorials to upskilling industry professionals.
I view hairdressing as a creative, art. I collaborate with my clients to bring their vision to life through one of my hairstyles, using premium products to achieve the best look and condition of the hair.
Clients who leave with a smile on their face are clients who return. They come back for the consistent high standards and for the attentive ear I have become known for. This is my not-so-secret recipe for earning loyalty. So feel free to share it.
